The Public Security Bureau of Xiushan County, in collaboration with three major departments, inspected the work related to carbon dioxide cracking
On July 29, 2020, leaders from the Public Security Bureau of Xiushan County, the Work Safety Supervision and Administration Bureau of Xiushan County, and the Emergency Management Bureau of Xiushan County jointly inspected the on-site work of nitrogen dioxide gas cracking at Xiushan Fuxing Sand and Gravel Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Chuangpuda Machinery Technology Co., LTD.
Chongqing Chuangpuda Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. conducted an investigation of the construction site and formulated a detailed construction plan: In a day and a half, 25 boreholes were drilled and 25 tubes were installed. The open face height of the site was about 7 meters. A 3.5X3.5X4 meter straight row drill was used. The size of the boreholes and the corresponding size of the straight row were strictly controlled. The final result measurement (crack 鏠 size) was 35m x 6m x 5.5m total 1155 cubic meters, each tube produced 46.2 cubic meters.
The main purpose of the inspection by the leaders of various departments this time is to understand whether carbon dioxide gas-induced cracking is safe, whether toxic gases are produced, and whether it causes damage to the surrounding environment. After the on-site construction by Chongqing Chuangpuda and the on-site construction personnel, it can be effectively proved that carbon dioxide gas-induced cracking is safer than traditional civil explosive products and will not produce toxic gases. Nor has it caused any damage to the surrounding environment.
